Donating at funeral services

Asking friends and family to make a donation at your loved one’s funeral or memorial service is a powerful way to celebrate the life of someone important to you.

Collecting donations

Leaving a gift in memory of a loved one is a special way to honour their memory and what mattered most to them. And while you pay tribute, it can be a comfort to know you'll also be providing care and compassion to people at the end of their life. Last year, we received almost £1 million from donations made at funeral services, covering the cost of over 5,000 nursing shifts.

If you'd like to support Marie Curie at a funeral or memorial service, we can provide Marie Curie donation collection envelopes free of charge. Please contact the Supporter Relations Team to place an order for envelopes by calling 0800 716 146 or emailing supporter.relations@mariecurie.org.uk.

And if you ever want to talk to someone following a bereavement, we're here to listen. Call our free Support Line on 0800 090 2309.
