Through our partners' generosity and the enthusiasm and commitment of their staff, we're able to reach more people and their families living with terminal illnesses across the UK.

Take a look at some of the companies, from household names to local businesses, that are helping us get vital nursing care and support to people who need it.

National partners

A global law firm, CMS  , have provided generous pro bono support to Marie Curie's legal tea, for over 10 years, advising and supporting on many aspects of our estate management and expansion, especially in the retail part of the charity. They are also great supporters of the Brain Game, hosting tables and being members of the committee. 


In 2023, Flying Flowers   supported Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal with donations from the sales of fresh daffodil products.


GAP Group  , headquartered in Glasgow, have supported Marie Curie since 2015. Their staff across the UK have supported with office fundraising as well as running marathons, volunteering and making donations to their local hospices.


Marie Curie is proud to partner with the UK Gas Distribution Networks, working together to make sure people living with terminal illness and their families have the support they need to stay warm and manage energy costs. Through Ofgem's VCMA fund, the UK Gas Distribution Networks are giving Marie Curie £1.7 million over three years to fund two Energy Support Officers to our Support Line; and to train Marie Curie Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Helper volunteers in the community to better support people experiencing fuel poverty.


With strong ties to the Marie Curie Hospice, Glasgow, Greenbelt  make an annual donation to Marie Curie and support their staff to fundraise for our vital cause. Greenbelt also support Marie Curie's Brain Games, attending the four events across the UK every year.


Hotter shoes logo

Providing care and support with every step! Hotter   have been working with Marie Curie since 2018, raising over £230,000 through the sales of limited-edition daffodil print shoes and a variety of store fundraisers.


KPMG   have pledged to raise at least £1 million in the first two years of our partnership to help Marie Curie reach more families across the UK.

Alongside staff fundraising, as KPMG's national charity partner, Marie Curie will provide a diverse range of strategic opportunities across volunteering, pro bono and thought leadership to engage KPMG colleagues and support our mission to be leaders in our field.


Morrisons logo

Morrisons have been supporting Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal since 2017 and have raised over £4 million through fundraisers in store and hosting collections. Read more.


The National Garden Scheme   have supported Marie Curie for over 27 years. In that time, they've raised over £10 million to support our nurses in providing more free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes. The National Garden Scheme fund the NGS Nightingale Challenge, a bespoke leadership course for frontline nurses and staff, helping us care for more people with terminal illness and their families.


In Spring 2023, Omaze partnered with Marie Curie for the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, giving the public the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime prize: a waterfront house in Cornwall worth £4,500,000, along with £100,000 in cash to settle in. £2.1 million was raised for Marie Curie for our end of life services, which was Omaze's biggest ever raise. We have been partnered with Savers Health and Beauty   since 2013. Savers have raised over £2.5 million through bag levy and staff fundraising. Along with their sister company Superdrug, Savers have helped hit the £10 million partnership milestone.


SPAR UK  and Marie Curie have been partnered together since 2017 and in that time have raised an incredible £2.7 million. Stores across the UK have donned their yellowest outfits, stocked daffodil pins and taken part in epic challenges to raise money to support their local communities. Products in store also donate to Marie Curie, including a limited-edition sandwich and fresh cut daffodils.


Superdrug logo

Since 2013, Superdrug  has raised over £10.5 million for Marie Curie, along with their sister company Savers, and raised vital awareness of our services among Superdrug colleagues and customers. We're delighted to have partnered with Superdrug for 10 years and we're incredibly proud of our award winning partnership.


Regional partners

Marie Curie is Corporate Charity Partner of Barr Soft Drinks   - the makers of Scotland's 'other national drink', IRN-BRU. The partnership, which runs for three years (2022-2025) includes a pledge of £150,000 as well as a commitment to additional fundraising activities from their employees with a headcount of over 800 across the UK.


Partnering with Marie Curie since 2021, ACS clothing   provide reverse logistics to the circular clothing economy. Their support has so far included staff participation in Kiltwalk, some office fundraising and also donations from a special Marie Curie blue suit hire, offered through their network of 150 hire shops across the UK.


 

Arnold Clark have supported Marie Curie in various ways, from staff fundraising to donating a yellow Marie Curie branded car to our community nursing service in Scotland. They are now advising us on how to insall EVCPs across our nine hospices and making a significant donation to the project. 


 

Allied Vehicles Group have supported Marie Curie by staff fundraising in memory of a colleague who was cared for in the Marie Curie Hospice, Glasgow. They've also offered volunteer support, participated in fundraising events, and donated a wheelchair accessible vehicle to help more people attend outpatient services at our Glagow hospice.


 

CJ Lang & Son Ltd, the wholesaler for SPAR Scotland, has partnered with Marie Curie since 2017, fundraising through store collection cans and particpating in events such as the Ben Nevis Trek and Firewalks. 


 

Livingston James Group comprises three specialist recruitment and leadership advisory firms with offices across Edinburgh and Glasgow. After an initial successful staff team building fundraising event in Glasgow, Livingston James Group have since supported Marie Curie through other events and are now on the committee for the Glasgow Brain Game
