Marie Curie's Online Community

Connect with our Online Community to get support from other people affected by terminal illness, including those who are bereaved, who understand what you’re going through.

Join now

Our Online Community is a space for you to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with others from the comfort of your own home.

You can chat with other members who are affected by terminal illness, including those who are bereaved. It’s free, available to anyone 24 hours a day.

  • We know that when you or someone you know are living with a terminal illness, or facing bereavement, it can be a difficult time. We want to create a space for people to come together to share their experiences and to remember that they're not alone.

Join our Online Community to speak to other people in similar situations. Once you have registered you can post as often or as little as you like. You will be able to react to other people's comments and join in on the conversations. By registering, you'll also be able to create your own profile, have access to private messaging, and can offer your support to others.

It takes less than five minutes to join. Register for free

  • Our Online Community isn't in place of other forms of support. If you think you or someone you know might need urgent help:

    • call your GP
    • call 111 for medical help or advice from the NHS when it's not an emergency
    • call 999 for emergency services.
  • Our Support Line team moderates the Online Community and is also here to help with any questions you may have. If you would like to get in touch with us, you can email us at moderators@mariecurie.org.uk or call us for free on 0800 090 2309

  • We're always looking for volunteers to join our friendly team. If you have a few hours to spare each month, and would like to share your experience with others, allowing them them to feel supported and heard please get in touch by emailing moderators@mariecurie.org.uk.
