Carer Support Needs Assessment Tool Intervention ECHO Network

The network aims to support health and social care practitioners with the Carer Support Needs Assessment Tool Intervention (CSNAT-I). Register now.

What is CSNAT-I?

CSNAT-I (Carer Support Needs Assessment Tool Intervention)   is an intervention for supporting carers (family or friends in an unpaid supportive role), delivered using a person-centred process of assessment and support.

Who should join?

This network is designed for health and social care practitioners and volunteers working within any setting where they have implemented, intend to or are interested in implementing CSNAT-I.

It's open to any registered or non-registered practitioners, working at all levels, roles and settings, including Marie Curie. Sessions will be beneficial to anyone working in contact with carers.

As a minimum requirement, participants will need to complete Learning Unit 1   which covers the use of the intervention in practice. It's free of charge, but requires registration.

Objectives of the network:

  • To grow a community of practice who are using the intervention to prompt needs-led conversations, enabling tailored support and carer's needs to be met.
  • To support the ongoing implementation and use of the CSNAT-I in practice.
  • To ensure consistency when using CSNAT-I.

Curriculum

Curriculum setting will take place on 21 March 2024 via Microsoft Teams.

This session is an integral part of the network and will give you further background on Project ECHO and will also allow all network participants to:

  • brainstorm and agree the curriculum
  • set dates/times for ECHO sessions
  • discuss and agree case studies.

This is a chance for you to help shape the content of the network and attendance from all network participants is key.
