Dementia and other cognitive impairments ECHO network

A network for Midlands and East of England

The aim of this network is to build understanding and improve the lived experiences of those with dementia or other cognitive impairments as well as those important to them. Register to the network here.

This is a network for health care professionals working within a setting where they care for and support people at the end of their life. It will be open to all levels of role, professions, and settings.

Whilst we expect most of the content to be relevant across the UK, there may be some content which is location specific. If you aren't based in either the Midlands or East of England but are still interested in joining please reach out to us to discuss further before registering.

Objectives of the network

  • Improve the end of life experiences of individuals with dementia and other cognitive impairments, and the experiences of those important to them.
  • Increase knowledge and understanding of the complexities at the end of life for those individuals with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
  • Increase awareness of ECHO methodology as a way of sharing knowledge and improving care at the end of life.
