Where our researchers are based
Our two research centres increase our knowledge and understanding of ways to improve the care that people receive at the end of their lives. We also use our Marie Curie Hospices as research hubs, as well as working with a wide range of organisations across the UK.
The MCPCRD at University College London develops and evaluates ways to improve the care of people with terminal illnesses.
Palliative Care Research Centre, Cardiff University
MCPCRC at Cardiff University is the only UK palliative care research centre based within a Clinical Trials Unit.
Our hospices
Using Marie Curie Hospices as research hubs, we’re improving care and support for people living with any terminal illness. Find out about research at our hospices, and meet our Research Leads and Research Nurses.
Universities and organisations across the UK
Every year we also fund researchers based at Universities, NHS hospitals, hospices or research institutes and organisations across the UK through our Research Grants Scheme.
Research Partnerships
We work with a wide range of organisations to increase funding, share knowledge and spread best practice in palliative and end of life care research.
